I was inspired to make some garlic bread over the weekend, so I thought I’d share my recipe for how to make your own vegan-friendly garlic butter. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s delicious. This recipe is easily adaptable for different tastes.
4tbls of vegan butter
3 x garlic cloves (crushed)
Sprig of fresh parsley (chopped)
Sprig of fresh rosemary (chopped)
1/2 tsp of rock salt (partially crushed)
1 x crusty baguette
Preheat the oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6.
Add the vegan butter to a bowl and mix with a fork until smooth.
Add the crushed garlic and stir. Add more or less cloves depending on how garlicky you like your butter.
Sprinkle in the chopped parsley and rosemary.
Crumble in the rock salt.
Mix everything together until well combined.
Cut your crusty baguette into slices, and then spread the garlic butter over each slice.
Place these buttered slices on a tinfoil covered baking tray and pop in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the bread is golden.
